2026 Risky Business Rosé

From our first vintage in 2013, Risky Business wines are produced from selected low intervention vineyards, then hand-made using small batch winemaking techniques. Our wines bring together the vision and decades of experience of grape grower and viticulturist Rob Quenby and vintner John Waldron.

A dry winter, followed by a dry spring and an earlier than usual warm, dry summer led to the earliest vintage harvest to date. The Pinot was picked late night through to early morning and pressed off skins immediately to reduce colour pickup, then given a long cool ferment and bottled as soon as possible to capture the delicate fresh cherry, raspberry and strawberry notes.

Delicate, attractive pale salmon pink. Ripe strawberry aromas with notes of raspberries and hints of floral notes, coupled with a savoury edge. The Pinot Noir has contributed good weight and mouthfeel, with fine and delicate fruit flavours on the mid palate well matched by crisp, fresh acidity. A perfectly balanced clean, crisp and dry rosé that can be served with or without food. Best enjoyed while young.
