Clandestine Vineyards #1 Grenache
"From a single vineyard planted in 1923 as bush vines in the hills above Clarendon. Light, bright colour; a full-bodied, savoury grenache unique to Clarendon with its structure and mouthfeel (but not its flavours); as robust as shiraz. It deserves a minimum of 5 years for the spices (presently locked up) to burst forth." - James Halliday 2019.

"This is a terrific grenache, excellent wine with wonderful texture. It's traditionally open fermented. It has a lovely medium bodied, juicy texture with excellent fruit. It has a such a velvety smooth feel with delicious flavours showing that typical Grenache rose petal character." Ray Jordan

Vinaceous Voodoo Moon Malbec
James Halliday Wine Companion 2019 | 91 Points
"This terrific Malbec is from Margaret River and shows both the fruit concentration and generosity of this variety, with that lifted floral aromatic. Matured in a mix of new and old French oak. The tanks are ripe and supple and the fruit so deep and intense. Lovely perfume adds to the overall appeal. This is a perfect example of why Malbec is such a superb variety, albeit underrated." "A youthful wine with vibrant aromas reminiscent of fruit compote and some beetroot. Palate is rich and tannic with mouth filling juicy fruit flavours and well-handled, top quality oak."

Vinaceous Impavido Vermentino
"The chatter about ‘alternative’ grape varieties can be a bit yawnworthy, but vermentino, originating in Italy, is one that shows real promise Down Under. Impavido offers uncomplicated fragrance, savoury/fresh food-friendly personality, and tight structure without the bitterness of some."

Vinaceous Red Right Hand Shiraz Grenache Tempranillo
"Love this. A red wine from Margaret River that screams 'drink me now'. It's largely shiraz and grenache, with a subtle influence of a small amount of tempranillo. The whole thing stacks up really well, with bright lively red fruit characters on the nose and palate. Deliciously juicy and drinkable, with an appealing fruit spice. The oak is deliberately underplayed to allow the fruit to express itself."
Ray Jordan | The West Australian | Oct 2015 | 94 POINTS
"A smart blend...earthy, gravelly, savoury, then flesh and fruit, ripe and juicy, with faint old oak spice to finish. Silky."

Vinaceous Sirenya Pinot Grigio
“This is sourced from the Adelaide Hills, which is characterised by a clean, crisp mineral fruit expression. Slightly musky, with a little pear and spice for good measure. Zingy palate finishes long and lively. Ideal current drinking wine.”

Festival Brisbane Burns Brightly
We’ve just landed from a brilliant few weeks as Silver partner of the extraordinary 2018 Brisbane Festival.
Queensland’s biggest arts and cultural event went off in show-stopping style with the Sunsuper Riverfire fireworks.
The smoke cleared and Violent Soho took to their home stage to play out the night. In a peak Queensland moment they were joined by Bernard Fanning for a charged acoustic version of Powderfinger’s ‘These Days’.
Fabulous festival, Brisbane. You know how to party.
YELP ONLY IN PERTH BADLANDS PARTY
Over 500 people enjoyed an incredible afternoon of live music, delicious eats and rockin’ drinks at the Only in Perth Badlands Party.
We were there with our bells on, as we do like a party. We were in great company as the #onlyinperth concept became a reality, the revellers were treated to great live entertainment and a showcase of Perth’s best local offerings.
ARTIST OPEN HOUSE FREMANTLE
Over a weekend in November fans of Artist Open House Fremantle flocked to six houses dotted along a walking trail in South Fremantle, WA. Local homes turned into miniature galleries to showcase (and sell) affordable Australian art.
